Common Running Injuries: Signs, Symptoms & Treatments

Thursday 26 November 2020
1:00pm – 2:00pm

Our team of specialists will discuss some of the most common injuries, such as Achilles Tendon, Stress Fractures and Plantar Heel pain, in detail as well as how to effectively manage them.

This webinar is designed to help all runners, new and experienced, to stay injury free and be equipped with the knowledge of what to do should you hit a bump in the road.

Running related injuries are the most common sport-related complaints we see in each of our clinics.

You will be taken through the signs and signals your body shows when it anticipates an injury and the best course of action to take.

Making sure you read the signs correctly, and then act accordingly, can be the difference between rehabilitation intervention and continuing to enjoy your weekly runs!

Speakers: Dr Rick Seah & Dr Bradley Neal

Rick and Brad will also cover:

  • Investigation & Treatment Options, including X-rays, ultrasound and MRI scanning
  • An overview of the injection and non-injection therapies to assist with pain relief
  • Symptom management to enable rehabilitation

To finish we will host an interactive Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask our specialists any questions you may have about running related injuries.
