This evening will give you the practical tools to reduce the long-term side-effects of sitting at a desk.

Do you have a desk-based job? Are you suffering from neck stiffness and/or back discomfort? Would you like to reduce work related stress and tension and improve your desk-based posture?

Over the last few years it has become clear that sitting at a desk everyday for long periods of time is not good for our bodies. It can lead to muscle tension, stiffness, reduced range of movement and often longer-term pain.

Our Soft Tissue Team will discuss why you may be suffering from neck and back discomfort, what they can do to help relieve stress and tight muscles, as well as providing self-help techniques to avoid long-term neck and back problems from sitting at a desk everyday.

The event will include:

  • 45 minute presentation and discussion with our specialist Soft Tissue Team
  • A break-down of why and how you may have discomfort due to being desk-based
  • Practical advice and self help
  • Longer-term injury prevention tips
