Head of Marketing

We are looking for a talented, driven individual to join us and lead the Marketing and Sales function at Pure Sports Medicine, as we look to our next stage of growth and development.

The Head of Marketing will be instrumental in developing and delivering a strategy to support business growth, elevating, and enhancing the brand, growing the company’s digital presence, and extending its consumer reach. The Head of Marketing will play a key role in the development and execution of the company’s overall growth strategy.

This is a full-time role, responsible for the Marketing and Sales teams and reporting directly to the CEO.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive B2C experience in marketing consumer-focused products / services
  • The ability to build and deliver a B2B strategy, delivering services into corporates
  • A strong digital marketing background Exceptional written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail A strong creative background with a brand focused mindset
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot / Salesforce)
  • A good understanding of website development and content management systems (e.g. Craft CMS)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with staff of all levels across the business
  • A commitment to personal and professional development

What you will be responsible for: #

1. Strategy

Ownership of the marketing and sales strategy:

  • Review the current brand and marketing strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Set out a clear and coherent marketing and sales strategy, focused on growing the number of leads into the business and improving lead conversions
  • Develop a clear understanding of the consumer landscape, market trends, consumer behaviours, and the competitive environment within the healthcare, health & wellbeing and fitness sectors
  • Undertake regular competitor analysis to ensure the marketing strategy is competing effectively
  • Support the growth of new service lines, expansion into new geographies within the UK, and other growth opportunities

2. Communication

Responsibility for all marketing and sales related communications:

  • Ensure all communication from the marketing and sales departments are delivered to the highest standards
  • Responsibility for all digital marketing content (website / blogs / social media / newsletters)
  • Responsibility for all physical marketing materials (advertising / signage / flyers / booklets)

Effective stakeholder management:

  • Working with the Senior Management Team, Heads of Department and Clinic Managers to ensure the company’s marketing and sales strategy and areas of responsibility are clearly understood
  • Clearly communicating the value that the Marketing and Sales teams are delivering to the business
  • Manage relationships with all third-party agencies, including digital media, PR, website development, brand, print and signage

3. Brand

Brand ownership, ensuring the continued development and evolution of the brand, brand mark and taglines to elevate the market position of Pure Sports Medicine and support business growth.

  • Ensure there is a clear brand strategy to support future growth
  • Identify new opportunities to enhance and build the brand
  • Uphold the brand values, making sure the company’s consumer facing brand ethos is clear and consistent
  • Championing the brand internally, ensuring all areas of the business understand the value of the brand

4. Digital

Management of all advertising and PR campaigns across the business.

  • Overall responsibility for paid search and paid social media campaigns, ensuring a clear evaluation of ROI and management of the company’s agency relationships
  • Management of media advertising at Canary Wharf and One New Change
  • Developing opportunities with journalists and bloggers to advertise and promote the business via content creation, expert opinion and reciprocal arrangements
  • Oversee and ensure successful delivery of all content across website, social media and online marketing channels
  • Evaluate the use of PR agencies to promote and elevate the Pure Sports Medicine brand / story 

5. Sales

Ownership of all leads into the business, establishing a highly effective sales team to drive conversions and new appointment growth. 

  • Building an effective sales funnel, driving qualified leads into the sales team
  • Supporting the sales team through sales training and system development (HubSpot)
  • Develop and deliver a clear B2B marketing and sales strategy to drive additional growth into the business
  • Support product development in the form of packaged services through effective marketing campaigns
