Part Time Strength and Conditioning Coach

We are looking for a motivated and hard working Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team.

We are looking to appoint a new Strength & Conditioning Coach on a part — time basis. The individual will need to be highly motivated, have keen interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and be able to work closely with the medical professionals in their team. 

Pure Sports Medicine is a multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Clinic, supporting athletes and the general public through their rehabilitation process. The candidate will have a high level of experience in delivering one to one and group Strength and Conditioning sessions, with a special interest in late stage rehab and injury prevention. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality Physical Assessments, program design, and personalised rehabilitation for a variety of patients, as well as high level Strength and Conditioning for elite athletes. The individual will also be well organised and have excellent communication skills. All of these skills will be required to build a comprehensive patient list and liaise with practitioners of different specialist fields within Pure Sports Medicine, as well as externally (orthopaedic surgeons, GP’s, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals).

The role will be based primarily at the Bank clinic in the Central London, but the successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally to other sites around central London to fulfil their responsibilities as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. This role will be extended to full time when utilisation targets are met.

Essential requirements:

  • Hold a degree or higher in a sports science or related field. 
  • Evidence of up to date training and continued professional development. 
  • A good level of experience in the field of Strength and Conditioning. 
  • A good level of experience in injury rehabilitation.

Desired requirements:

  • UKSCA certified or in the process of becoming certified. 
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To conduct full physical assessments for injured and non-injured clients. 
  • To design and implement high quality exercise and rehab programs based on sound physiological knowledge. 
  • To provide motivation and support to all patients both in person and via correspondence with excellent communication skills.
