With less than 6 months before the World Championships, semi-professional cheerleader, Molly, sustained a hamstring tear on her left leg. She quickly underwent surgery to reconnect all three tendons which had unfortunately disconnected from bone.
After the initial post-surgical rehab, and a recommendation from her Coach, Molly came to see Physiotherapist, Amy Todd, at our Raynes Park clinic. Amy, who has a background in cheerleading herself, knew exactly what to do, and what it would take, to get Molly competition ready.
Both knew that the goal was ambitious but took on the challenge with total focus and determination.
We’re thrilled to say that Molly made it to the Championships, strong and able to perform to the high standard that cheerleading demands.
We’re beyond pleased with Molly’s progress and so glad to have played a part in her recovery journey. Helping people get back to the sports and activities they love is our main goal – it truly drives and motivates us – so we couldn’t be happier with the outcome for Molly.
