Here at Pure Sports Medicine, Pilates is about quality not quantity. We structure our classes for smaller, more intimate group numbers and our private 1:1 sessions are focused and goal driven. This way every session is tailored to your requirements.

All of our Instructors have years of experience and are highly skilled and passionate to help you move better, more efficiently and to become stronger.

Within this industry some classes or fitness events focus on frequency and intensity. Although this kind of workout can be beneficial and exciting, it can sometimes lead to injury if you’re suffering through an ache or niggle and even more so when your class follows a long sedentary day at the desk.

If your ability to move is already compromised, whether through pain, dysfunction or injury our multidisciplinary team work together to make sure you’re referred to the treatment or discipline most suited to your recovery and to ultimately help you achieve the best possible outcome.

During our Pilates classes we focus on quality of movement, functional sequencing and a mind-body movement experience. This approach is ideal for the largely inactive, high paced and often anxiety driven lives we live. These sessions will help to retrain and reinforce positive patterns that will help your body to move the way it was designed to; efficiently, freely, with strength and injury free.

Something we find important is encouraging positive body awareness and attention to detail. Not only does this help with improving your overall movement but it promotes a great sense of calm.

We believe a combination of: manual and movement therapy, a healthy diet and a supportive environment helps our patients to recover from injury more quickly and get back to their day-to-day lives and activities both stronger and healthier!
