With over 17 years of clinical experience, Bruno has supported athletes in professional football (Academy and First Team), cycling, tennis, and high-performance rowing. For 8 years, Bruno balanced his physiotherapy career with a full-time role as a firefighter in Brazil—an experience that developed his resilience, leadership, and composure under pressure, all of which continue to shape his calm, purposeful clinical style.
Bruno has a keen clinical interest in back pain and lower limb injuries, and takes pride in helping both athletes and everyday patients move confidently again. He also enjoys working with senior and elderly patients, supporting them to grow strong sensibly and gently, and helping them maintain independence through functional, age-appropriate rehab.
He is a strong advocate of active recovery, and consistently works to bridge the gap between strength and rehabilitation—ensuring patients don’t just recover, but return stronger.
As Clinic Manager at Pure Sports Medicine Roehampton, Bruno leads with a focus on quality care, clinician development, and community engagement. Outside work, he is a keen Olympic lifter, gym goer, and former rower and sprinter.
A former rower and firefighter, he has worked as both academy and first-team physio with footballers, cyclists, and tennis players. He bridges rehab and strength, with a special interest in back, lower limb injuries, and ageing strong.
