Sandrina is passionate about combining evidence-based practice with innovation to support patients in achieving long-term mobility and independence.
I graduated with a First Class Honours in Podiatric Medicine from the University of Northampton and have tailored my practice towards diabetic foot care and foot pain management within the NHS. Just prior to joining Pure Sports Medicine I worked as a Senior Podiatrist with specialist expertise in acute and complex foot and lower limb conditions. My role involved close collaboration in multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred treatment and preventative care.
My current clinical interests routine foot care – ingrowing toenails, callus, fungal nail treatments, and diabetic foot care. I have also led specialist clinics, including laser therapy for MSK conditions and I am passionate about combining evidence-based practice with innovation to support patients in achieving long-term mobility and independence.
To further my practice as well-rounded health care professional and provider, I am currently studying towards my Masters in Public Health. This will deepen my understanding of population health, health policy, and preventative strategies to keep our bodies – and feet – happier and healthier for longer.
