Shreena is a Physiotherapist with extensive experience in sports medicine and lumbo-pelvic mechanics, combining manual therapy with evidence-based rehabilitation to support recovery and performance.
Throughout my career, I have gained invaluable clinical experience as a First Contact Practitioner within the NHS, enabling me to effectively treat a diverse range of patients. My work with athletes, including tennis players, golfers, and others, has sparked a deep interest in rotational lumbo-pelvic mechanics.
For my Sports Medicine Master’s thesis, I focused on investigating lower back pain in the PGA Tour golfer population.
I am constantly expanding my expertise and have recently ventured into postpartum care, where I work closely with new mothers to support their safe return to sports.
Collaborating with the women’s health specialists at Pure, I am committed to ensuring these women receive the comprehensive support and guidance they need during this pivotal time.
As a keen skier, snowboarder, golfer, and tennis player, my personal passion for these sports has influenced my clinical interests. I have had the opportunity to work in ski resorts in France, as well as alongside golf clubs and professionals. Similarly, my experience working with tennis coaches and players has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the unique needs and challenges within these sports.
Additionally, I had the privilege of working at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where I further honed my clinical skills in a high-performance setting.
