Lisa was born and raised in New Zealand. At age 16, Lisa started full time dance training at the national institute; New Zealand School of Dance, majoring in contemporary dance. Upon graduating she injured her knee (meniscus) requiring surgery. This lead to a further two knee surgeries and the end of her professional dance career.
Lisa then went on to study at AUT, BHSc (Physiotherapy). Later doing a PGCert in Western Acupuncture and qualifying in reformer and mat Pilates.
Lisa has worked across multiple private practices and gained extensive experience in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries. As well as a short stint in the TBI and stroke unit.
She has also taught group reformer rehabilitative classes.
