Lucas is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with extensive experience in sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and elite football physiotherapy.
I’m Lucas, a qualified Physiotherapist since 2017 with extensive experience across the NHS, private healthcare, and elite sport. I began my career at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, gaining valuable experience across a range of specialties in one of London’s largest teaching hospitals. I then specialised as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working within both the NHS and private healthcare, focusing on acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and orthopaedic rehab, from pre to post-operative care.
I have worked within elite sport for the last seven years including roles at Leyton Orient, Watford, and Tottenham Hotspur academies, and I currently work part-time at Arsenal FC, delivering elite sports Physiotherapy for young athletes.
I’m passionate about evidence-based rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance, with a particular focus on the lower limb and shoulder. My experience spans from pitch-side assessments to designing comprehensive rehabilitation programmes, helping athletes safely return to play.
Outside of work, I’m an active participant in football, skiing and endurance events. My personal involvement in sports, combined with my professional background, shapes my approach to Physiotherapy: I prioritise patient-centred care tailored to individual goals working with all age ranges and athletic ability.
Whether in a clinical or athletic setting, I’m committed to helping others achieve their best, whether they’re recovering from an injury or striving to improve performance.
Extensive experience in managing all ages and athletic ability. Pride myself on always
delivering forward thinking, evidence-based rehabilitation and injury prevention.
