We are looking for expert Physiotherapists to join our team across our 8 London based clinics, who have achieved Advanced Practitioner status.

The Role #

Pure Sports Medicine have recently developed an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist role that recognises those clinicians eligible for AP status (MACP members, or MSc with affiliate MACP membership). This role is suitable for any experienced MSK Physiotherapist who has achieved AP status, it is also possible to join our team in a MSK role (see MSK opportunities) and be supported working towards AP status.

  • Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Spine (Area of Interest Lead)
  • Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Knee, Hip, Foot & Ankle, Pain

Employment Details #

For Advanced Practice roles:

  • £50 – 55k expected year 1 income
  • Competitive base salary with additional salary dependent on caseload growth
  • 23 days annual leave plus public holidays
  • Annual salary review
  • 5 days paid CPD leave plus £750 budget

  • Comprehensive learning and development program

Structure of the roles: #

  • The AP Rheumatology role is 38 clinical hours over 5 days, or we can consider a 4 day role with 30 – 32 clinical hours. We can also consider a part-time role over 2 – 3 days
  • the AP Spines with Area of Interest Lead would entail 34 clinical hours per week plus 4 management hours with occasional travel between clinics
  • Full time roles (45 days) are employed, part-time roles are self-employed
  • Structured appraisal system for all clinical staff
  • Structured in-house CPD program for all clinical staff

Learning & development opportunities: #

For full-time, employed roles there is a CPD budget of £750 per year, plus 5 days study leave to attend courses, conferences and other learning activities, this can also be used towards post-graduate studies.

For all clinical staff, employed and self-employed, clinical development in-house is taken seriously. Aside from ring-fenced CPD time every month we encourage shared learning within our team on a daily basis; seeing patients together or watching your clinical colleagues to gain experience, discussing cases and sharing outcomes are just some of the ways we ensure that you develop. The appraisal process for employed staff will ensure your learning objectives are planned and achieved.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist — Rheumatology #

This is a full-time or part-time role that allows a Physiotherapist passionate about Rheumatology to practice in the private sector, taking patients from assessment and diagnosis all the way through rehabilitation in a dynamic clinical setting. 

Working alongside our Rheumatologists and the rest of our clinical team, you will be based in one location with the opportunity to build the profile of our Rheumatology service. Patient management will include pharmacological interventions and use of our extensive rehabilitation equipment, bringing best practice into reality.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Spine (Area of Interest Lead) #

This is a full-time clinical role with the opportunity to build a spine-focused caseload in an environment that allows the candidate to manage patients all the way through their rehabilitation journey. 

Aside from clinical practice the role will entail leading the spinal team’ across our organisation, disseminating knowledge across our staff, hosting CPD activities, networking with key external clinical groups and meeting our team for peer review sessions. 

Our area of interest lead-roles help support our Heads of Department by bringing focused expertise in their chosen area, driving the clinical development of our teams through active engagement in shared learning. Clinic work will be based in one location.

Advanced Practice Physiotherapist – Knee, Hip, Foot & Ankle, Pain #

We have opportunities for AP status Physiotherapists with specialist clinical experience in one of these areas. Full-time or part-time options. 

This role would allow a clinician to manage patients from assessment through to the end of rehabilitation surrounded by an extensive MDT and fantastic clinical facilities with full rehab equipment, Vald ForceDecks and HDD testing.
