His expertise spans professional football (Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, Tottenham Hotspur, and the NFL London Games), military medicine, and high-performance clinics, but his approach is tailored to anyone looking to move better, recover faster, and live pain-free.
At Pure Sports Medicine, Sam takes a patient-centred approach, combining cutting-edge diagnostics with innovative treatments such as PRP, orthobiologics, and Arthrosamid to help restore function and reduce pain.
By working with individuals recovering from sports injuries, osteoarthritis, and chronic pain, Sam uses advanced rehabilitation techniques to help them return to full function.
Beyond injury management, he also helps to optimise performance and longevity, offering VO2 max testing, biomechanical assessments, and hormone health support to improve energy levels, mobility, and long-term resilience.
Sam’s background in military medicine and elite sports allows him to bring a unique perspective to injury recovery, blending evidence-based medicine with cutting-edge sports science.

Sam has worked as a doctor for elite football teams, international rugby and win American football amongst others. He has served as a SEM Consultant for the MOD and various NHS and private clinics.
He currently leads the Performance Department at Lanserhof at the Arts Club, focusing on using VO2 max and biomechanical testing, alongside integrative medicine for true musculoskeletal health optimisation.

Our Kensington clinic on Cromwell Road is located within the Point West Building, adjacent to David Lloyd. It is convenient to Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham and West London, and offers both face-to-face and remote consultations.
