I qualified from University of Birmingham in 1997 and initially embarked on a clinical career in the NHS at a large teaching hospital in Birmingham.

I moved to The Royal Free Hospital in London in 1999 where I stayed for five years developing my skills in the Musculoskeletal specialty, during this time I undertook further post-graduate study and successfully gained membership to the MACP. In 2004 I joined Pure Sports Medicine and have been here ever since.

Over the past 20 years, I have been very fortunate to work with exceptional colleagues in the delivery of expert Physiotherapy alongside our other specialists.

My own practice has gradually focused on shoulder and elbow problems, but I have extensive experience treating all musculoskeletal issues, particularly those persistent aches and pains with no clear diagnosis.

My approach is to fully understand the problem, taking time to talk about the history and explore all potential factors involved, following up with a detailed physical examination and then giving my diagnosis.

I am a skilled hands-on manual therapist, I use this alongside exercise and movement strategies to achieve results. This will always be underpinned by clear advice, reassurance and education.
