Originally from New Zealand, Cam brings with her a genuine curiosity for the clinical side of movement and rehabilitation.
With a background in Communications and Psychology, Cam brings a strong understanding of both behavioural science and physical health to her role as a Pilates Instructor at Pure. Her journey with Pilates began during her 13 years as a ballet dancer, when recurring injuries to her knees, back, and hips led her to seek an alternative to dance. Pilates offered a low-impact and structured method to regain strength, whilst rebuilding confidence and mindfulness in movement.
Now a qualified Pilates instructor, she is passionate about helping clients find their way back to exercise, whilst developing a deeper awareness of their bodies and the mind-body connection. Her teaching style blends classical Josef Pilates principles—core strength, precision, and control—with evidence-based rehab tools to get patients back doing what they love.
Cam also has a passion for netball, having played for and coached both competitive and social teams. She has taught young dancers in ballet, jazz, and contemporary, and enjoys working with all age groups.
She is dedicated to helping people learn to protect their bodies through both physical and mental strength, allowing them to feel confident getting back into sports after injury. She collaborates closely with clients to build personalised plans that feel exciting and achievable (with a healthy amount of challenge!), supporting them through their rehab journey.
In her sessions, she creates a welcoming and encouraging space where clients feel supported, informed, and confident in their ability to move well.
