Biography

Dr Kush Joshi is a dedicated Sports and Exercise medicine Consultant with a keen interest in optimising athletic performance, preventing injuries, and aiding the recovery of individuals involved in physical activity.

Having completed specialist training in London, 2019, Dr Joshi has been actively involved in the NHS, providing exceptional care and expertise to patients as a Consultant. On completion of training, he took a consultant job at Oxford University Hospital Trust as well as Homerton Hospital, where he continues to work. He has also gained valuable experience in the military of defence in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of service men and women, where we worked for 18 months.

Dr Joshi has had the privilege of working with renowned sports organisations and events throughout his career. He currently serves as a tournament Doctor for The All-England Tennis and Croquet club, and the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, gaining valuable experience in managing acute injuries and promoting player welfare at an international level. In addition, he has worked with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), Saracens RFC, Chelsea FC, and the English Institute of Sport, developing skills in managing acute and chronic injuries in athletes across different sports, expanding knowledge in sports-specific injuries and rehabilitation protocols.

Driven by a passion for both medicine and personal interest, Dr Joshi is currently engaged in research focused on bouldering. This research aims to enhance understanding and optimise performance in this specific area of interest, combining his expertise as a sports medicine professional with his personal enthusiasm as a climber.
