Hannah Worsley
Physiotherapist
Introduction
I’m a physiotherapist passionate about helping people recover from injury and return to the activities that matter most. With a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries, I combine advanced training from my Sports Physiotherapy Master’s with biomechanical testing to create clear, efficient, and motivating rehab plans. Having grown up playing competitive tennis and hockey, I know first-hand the value of sport for health, wellbeing, and personal growth, and I remain a strong advocate for participation at all levels.
I am a physiotherapist from Scotland, with a specialist interest in sport and musculoskeletal injuries, particularly involving the shoulder and knee. After graduating with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy (BSc) from the University of Nottingham, I moved to Brisbane to complete a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, where I had the privilege of learning from world-renowned experts and working with athletes ranging from recreational participants to Olympians.
During my time in Australia, I collaborated closely with exercise physiologists to deliver holistic, individualised care, ensuring every athlete received the highest standard of evidence-based treatment. Alongside this, I served as lead physiotherapist at a Brisbane school sports academy, supporting athletes across a wide range of sports through the academy program.
I have presented at the Sports Medicine Australia Conference on the differences between male and female athletes, exploring the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence performance and injury management. I am passionate about promoting sport and supporting individuals to stay engaged in physical activity for longer, whilst also aiming to narrow the gender gap that still exists within sports.
In my practice I integrate advanced technology, including VALD biomechanical testing systems, to provide objective data that guides clear, efficient, and motivating rehabilitation. My approach blends scientific precision with a strong focus on athlete-centred care, ensuring each individual achieves their best outcomes.
