My name is Archie James, and I am a specialist physiotherapist dedicated to helping people overcome injury, return to living life fully, and help them to gain control of their overall health.
With a unique journey that began at Ballet school, I trained and performed as a Ballet dancer both nationally and internationally, before discovering a keen interest in Physiotherapy. This passion led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at King’s College London (KCL).
Following my graduation, I joined St Thomas’ Hospital, where I worked across their Fracture and Orthopaedic clinics, and later the Spinal Pain team. My clinical work has been complemented by my involvement in academia at KCL — supporting research, examining, guest lecturing, and leading the university’s teaching clinic.
I am currently a Specialist Physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine, where I focus on both recent and persistent spinal-related pain conditions, as well as lower and upper limb rehabilitation. Alongside my clinical role, I maintain my connection with KCL as an educator and continue to support international athletes in their performance and recovery.
My combined background in performance, clinical care, and academic teaching allows me to bring a well-rounded, evidence-informed, and empathetic approach to my physiotherapy practice. I am passionate about supporting people in a holistic and personable way, to help you confidently return to living life fully, and getting back to your goals.
