Jordan is a Physiotherapist with extensive experience in the treatment of sporting injuries, trauma-related injuries, and overload injuries.
I am an experienced Physiotherapist with a special interest in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of Shoulder injuries.
Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure in working with a diverse patient group, helping patients with complex injuries that require long term rehab, elite sporting athletes and their return to play journey and everything in between.
My passion for helping patients return to the activity that they love led to me developing a return to play decision making tool, which I use with patients to assist our decision-making process. This includes working with equipment such as the Handheld dynamometer and VALD dual-plate Force Decks.
I have also been fortunate enough to help educate other healthcare professionals by teaching upper limb assessment on the Sports and Exercise Medicine MSc, a course that I completed myself in 2022.
I have a big interest in the patients journey and experience of working with healthcare professionals which led to me completing a piece of research about “What makes a successful pain assessment?” This enabled me to get great insight into patients’ expectations of the initial assessment and rehab journey.
As Head of Rehabilitation at Pure Sports Medicine, I enjoy utilising my skillset to help patients who require more complex rehabilitation needs.
Despite Shoulders being my special interest, I see all upper limb injuries and pain and have great experience working with post operative patients and Tendon issues.
