Born and raised in sunny South Africa, Kirstyn studied Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand before moving to the UK. She had the opportunity to explore different specialities’ within the profession and has come to wholly appreciate the world of Hand Therapy.
Kirstyn has a keen interest in acute injuries and believes in working with individuals to enable their engagement in meaningful activities throughout the rehabilitation process.
She believes that the best outcomes come from therapy that is holistic and person specific. Her experience working in rural, under resourced environments has taught her that success is not only achieved through a wealth of resources but by making the most out of every opportunity.
