Biography

Ben graduated from Sheffield Hallam university in 2013 with a Physiotherapy BSc and started his career in the NHS before specialising in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation, where he first experienced rehabilitation of major trauma patients. 

This interest has since been his passion; empowering patients to return to great quality of life along side high level activity and sport.

As Ben progressed through his career he continuously aligned his treatments with the most up-to-date evidence and went on to strengthen his knowledge and skills by completing a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2022

Most recently he has started an upper limb advanced Physiotherapy practitioner role, working along side upper limb orthopaedic consultants to give expert care in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of upper limb musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. 

Ben values working through a step by step process with specific goal setting, using clear communication and building strong working relationships to help his patients return to high level physical activity, exercise or sport.

Other Experience

5 years’ experience in rehabilitation of Major trauma/​Polytrauma patients – I had a leading role in the formation of the major trauma rehabilitation pathway at st Georges University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, completed an MACP placement at the Sports and Exercise Medicine clinic at Mile end Hospital – experiencing assessment, treating and managing rehabilitation plans for Elite level ballet dancers and
