Gabrielle is a highly experienced Podiatrist specialising in musculoskeletal, biomechanical and sports health.
I earned a first-class degree in podiatry from Southampton University since when I have maintained a specific focus on musculoskeletal complaints especially where these are the result of sporting injuries.
To support my clinical practice, I completed an MSc in Podiatric Sports Medicine at Queen Mary’s University of London achieving the Euripedes prize for the best research project.
Prior to joining Pure Sports Medicine I worked at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust where I was the MSK Podiatry Lead. In addition, I worked at Crystal Palace Sports Physio Group, The Foot Health Company and have supported several sporting events as a volunteer podiatrist including the London Marathon.
I have specialist knowledge of biomechanics, offloading and have undertaken published research into the effect of orthotics on an individual’s centre of pressure.
My clinical approach is to fully understand the way your condition is manifesting itself as well as any related concerns that you may have.
Equally, I focus on the aims and objectives of your treatment and rehabilitation. This way I can ensure that the treatment you receive is tailored to your specific needs. Whether that involves prescribing orthotics, providing conditioning exercises and advice or referring you to surgical experts, medical consultants, or physiotherapists I will ensure you receive the best multidisciplinary treatment.
With a deep knowledge of musculoskeletal podiatry, a passion for sport and an empathetic approach, I am the ideal therapist to help you attain your goals.
I have direct experience of a broad range of lower limb disorders and musculoskeletal conditions. This includes gait analysis, injury management and rehabilitation and has involved individuals participating in all types of physical exercise from recreational hobbyists to elite athletes.
