Introduction

As an experienced Pilates instructor, my goal is for you to experience the joy of movement, help you create new habits, improve self-efficacy and give you the confidence to explore how much you are able to do! I aim to relate your Pilates work to your daily activities or sporting interests to ensure good carry-over of the skills. Your practice is then ongoing, from a conscious to a subconscious level.

My background is fairly diverse and as a result I believe I can relate well to other people’s situations.

I completed vocational training in classical ballet in Greece and taught ballet for seven years until I moved to New York.

When working with dancers in the Pilates studio, I am keen to educate around safe practice, injury prevention and rehabilitation and most importantly ensure transference to dance. Taking a dance step, breaking it down, doing some targeted work and putting it back together again is a very rewarding process.

As a full-time mum of three (grown ups now), I can fully relate to the demands placed on us during the various phases from pregnancy onwards. Your Pilates session will not only help with your physical strength but it can also be that special 1-hour period that you dedicate to you!

Finally, as a former currency trader, I can understand the impact of a fast paced, stressful environment. I aim to balance out a need for higher intensity work with much needed breath and mobility work.

My Pilates sessions are always true to the principles of the method (mat and equipment) but I like to incorporate elements from the Franklin Method, Feldenkrais, the Oov, dance and anything new I learn on a daily basis – regular software updates!

With the use of the equipment, we can be endlessly creative and modify exercises to suit your preferences, always with your needs and goals in sight.

Languages: Greek, English, French

When I’m not teaching, I am likely to be in a ballet class, playing the piano or trying out new movement tricks!

At Pure Sports Medicine Bank and Kensington since 2015 where I have seen a wide array of clients from post operative, chronic/severe pain, to regular strength and maintenance sessions.
