Lianne is a Physiotherapist at Pure Sports Medicine, and is a Member of the Association of Charted Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Additionally to her time at Pure, Lianne also is also works with Scottish Rugby Union and Hockey Men’s Senior and U21 teams, and Waterboys Rugby 7’s.
Before joining Pure, Lianne worked at Balanced Physiotherapy in Edinburgh, St Andrews Rugby Club, Howe of Fife RFC and she was the senior MSK Physiotherapist at private sports injury clinic in Fife. She also presented at The All Together Better Health Conference, Pittsburgh USA.
Her specialist areas of interest include running and sports-related injuries, shoulder, hip and knee pain, tendon injuries, concussion, pre and post operative rehabilitation and adolescent sports injuries.
As well as her impressive career to-date, Lianne has also gained experience as a London Marathon Physio and supporting the Crusaders Rugby team in New Zealand. She has also earned a SCRUMCAPS Pitchside Trauma qualification, and is experienced in supportive treatments such as dry needling, shockwave therapy, and spinal manipulation.
